The Queen's Hall
The Queen's Hall is at the centre of village life and is host to a wide range of activities - from dance classes, tumble tots, keep fit and dog training. See our leaflet for the full range of what is happening at the Hall. It also available for private hire and is the perfect place for a wedding that is unique to you. No preconceived ideas about menus or decoration. You choose exactly what you want and can make sure it is within your budget. The large Victorian hall, which is ideally situated on Cuckfield High Street, seats 100 for a formal wedding breakfast or up to 200 for a buffet meal. The pleasant garden at the rear is reached via a newly refurbished corridor which leads out onto decking and then the garden. (Lively youngsters can spill over into the recreation ground too.) A lovely setting for photographs and drinks. 
There is also a foyer with bar - ideal if the weather is inclement.
The Hall is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and naming ceremonies. The Council Chamber seats 35 for a more intimate occasion or the Main Hall will hold 100.
Whether you choose to hold a buffet or full-sit down meal you are free to choose your own caterers, who will have full use of the excellent kitchen, your own florists and of course you can decorate the hall as you wish. A “blank canvas” for you to work on! Our staff will be only too pleased to show you round and give you ideas of what can be done from our portfolio of previous weddings.
Our hire fee is inclusive for the day. There are no hidden extras.
